On 25 October 2006, at the request of the webmaster of this site, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WDOT) put up a Heritage Marker in Four Lakes, Washington pointing towards the Battle of Four Lakes monument. The heritage marker is located on State Route 904 in Four Lakes. Many thanks to the WDOT for this effort.
